The day-to-day work is executed by the international team members at the individual NMHS. This group is guided by the CM SAF Board which is the technical authority of the SAF and responsible for the proper execution of all SAF CDOP activities.

The CM SAF Steering Group is the SAF-specific programmatic authority which may inter alia decide on changes in the CDOP planning, including adjustments of the payment plan.

CM SAF Board and Steering Group meet twice a year each.

The Steering Group is supported by Review Boards that will continuously assess the status and development of the CM SAF activities. The Review Board is composed of special experts, depending on the subject to review.
