Accessibility

We want as many people as possible to be able to use our website. CM SAF makes every effort to make our website www.cmsaf.eu and the related Web User Interface (https://wui.cmsaf.eu) e-accessible.

We know some parts of these two websites are not fully accessible.

  • Not all of the documents offered for downloading are fully accessible, especially older documents will not be post-edited. We have set ourselves the goal to offer accessible PDF files as far as possible and expedient in the future, or to provide content in HTML format. You can see whether a document is already accessible by reading the corresponding description text. Files that have not yet been converted are marked as "Not-barrier free file", accessible/partially accessible files as "barrier-free file".
Should you require content from older documents in a form accessible to you, please contact us via email (contact.cmsaf@dwd.de). We will try to make the content available to you to the extent possible by other means.
  • Not all videos have captions.
  • Screen readers may not read out some information in the tables and content emphasised visually might not be emphasised when using a screen reader.
  • Some icons do not have text equivalents
  • A visual captcha is required when registering as a new user in our Web User Interface or in case of requesting a new password. It is necessary to prevent misuse of these services by web robots. Users who are unable to read the captcha may contact our User Help Desk for further assistance during the registration process or resetting of their login credentials.

CM SAF provides links to external web content and is not responsible for the accessibility of these pages.
